CareerGuidance.ie was founded and launched by Diarmuid Haughian in 2009. Diarmuid's Father was a qualified career guidance counsellor at the Naas CBS secondary school in Kildare for almost 30 years and made several appearances on RTE Radio as an esteemed practitioner and professional in this most important field, Career Guidance. Diarmuid also has a brother and sister who are both guidance practitioners in London and Dublin.

Diarmuid holds a Master qualification in IT and also a Masters qualification in Career Guidance - the website was designed and programmed by Diarmuid from the point of view of the user, the client, the graduate, the professional, the student – YOU. Diarmuid and his family are immersed in Career Guidance and Web Technology and the aim of the website is to allow YOU to make the most informed educational and career decision and if you are unsure of what direction you should take you can make a face to face appointment nationwide to see a QUALIFIED and IMPARTIAL career guidance practitioner anywhere in Ireland.
